Sketch Saturday 140 + Papertake Anything Goes & Flowers

My latest digi is from a drawing I made of Ada when she was a few months old which I came across in an old sketchbook of mine this week.  I thought she looked very 'boy-ish' in it and that started me wondering about her new baby brother, Tobias, whom we shall meet one week today, if not before!

I'm so looking forward to meeting this lickle grandson - I can't wait to see if he's like Ada or not! Ada has been such an easy baby - a complete delight and pleasure - and I think her Mummy may have been lulled into a false sense of security.......!

So, I've called this one 'Baby Toby'!
And I've used him on this card which I've entered into Sketch Saturday's challenge and Papertake Weekly this week!

I printed the image onto silk art card, which is quite glossy and behaves entirely differently than with my usual Ryman's card with my Copics, so it's a much less pigmented effect.

You can't do the usual layering up technique on this card, as a second pass with your Copic 'melts' the previous layer so you end up with a streak if you're not careful! It did, however, make for a nice effect on the baby's top!

Hope you like 'Baby Toby' as he is now on sale on my other blog 'Eiglassing' as are my other digis. (I haven't had time to get up all my 'buy now' buttons yet though so just e-mail me and I'll send any files you might want!).
