C.R.A.F.T 37 - Colouring Digital Images

This week at C.R.A.F.T we have some lovely images from Digital Delights to colour in.

I have 'Rosie', who is having a lovely time frightening the life out of a poor bird minding his own business in the clouds!

I would have liked to do a tutorial for this card but time just wouldn't allow - I'm sorry.

It is just a simple 'penny-slider' card but done vertically instead of the more usual horizontal and there's a fishing-line tied to the balloon and fed over the top of the card to the back where it has beads threaded on and an amethyst heart to weight it and when the line is pulled, the balloon raises!

The cloud on the front is an interesting technique. You can't see white on white all that well in a photo, but there is texture on there.
What I did was take a dribble of white Liquid Applique (the stuff that puffs up when you heat it) and brayer it over the front of the card. Then I shook Fun Flock, also in white, all over it and heated it with my heat gun! Quite 'cloudy'!

The bird I drew free-hand and just mirrored him, stuck him back to back on a bit of acrylic from some packaging or other and stuck him to the inside of the card so he looks like he's above the cloud.

The fab 'sky' paper is '12 by 12' brand by a lass called Jennifer O'Meara.

All colouring was with my lovely Copics and I used a little 'Glossy Accents' on the hearts on the balloon.

Hope you like it - it was fun making it and I'll refine it again later on in the year.
Hugs,
Ei
