Yayy! I'm on Stitchy Bear....!

Finally, with a lot of help from the fabulous Stitchy, I'm finally there on Stitchy-Bear Stamps!
Well, three of my digis are anyway! LOL!
You've no idea how much work goes on to get these things in the public domain! My poor noggin is throbbin'!

Stitch must be cursing all techno-challenged artists in general and one in particular...! LOL!

I just have three of my Ada drawings on at the minute but there'll be more very soon (hopefully later today!).

I hope you pop over there and have a gander at not only mine, but the other artists too, especially my mate HopeJacare!
Thank you for looking!

C.R.A.F.T 61 - Hot & Spicy!

I've no clue where this post went to! I wrote it up days ago and it just disappeared! That should not be possible!
Never mind - here it is again!

Over on C.R.A.F.T this week -
as we don't seem to be getting any 'real' summer at the moment, we have decided to create our own! Yeah, we're fed up of the miserable weather so we want you lot to come up with something Hot & Spicy!

You can use any genre you like, you can stamp, decoupage, knit, make a scrapbook layout or otherwise express yourself but your creation must be in Hot & Spicy colours.

Think of reds, oranges, hot pinks, golden yellows! We'll even allow you a little tiny bit of contrasting lime, lemon and turquoise but the overall effect must be steaming hot!

We have a fab sponsor for this week! Rosemary Merry's 'Crabapple Crafts' are offering a fab prize to the winner of this week's challenge so it would be good to see some summer holiday scrapbook layouts!

As tv's (...and certainly mine...!) favourite Scrapbooker, Rosemary always bring us great products in her own shop, Crabapple Crafts and on QVC and this August is no exception!

Rosemary will be appearing at the following times.

Crafts Creative Moments (the name of her relaunched shows)
3 August from 2.00pm - 4.00pm
3 August from 7.00pm - 8.00pm shared with USA guest Teresa Collins

American Crafts
16 August from 1.00pm - 2.00pm

Most of the products in all these shows haven't been seen before on QVC so it's going to be interesting and fun!

I personally love American Crafts (amongst others) and have a few of their stacks - the quality is just wonderful and the designs strong and contemporary - and Rosemary always presents an interesting show with lots of demos and inspiration.

That's why I've done a scrapbook layout this week!

It's fairly self-explanatory (...as scrap-pages are wont to be...!) and as you can see, Charlie & Izzy have been busy! We'll see how busy in a few weeks! LOL!

Pop over to craft and join in with our summer fun - it'll be cooler everywhere else...!

Crafty Cardmakers 26 - Recipe

At Crafty Cardmakers this week we have a lovely recipe from our super
team-mate Joy - use the colours yellow/orange, punch/stickers, animal/fish/bird.

My paper is from K&Co, my puches from Martha Stewart and my cute lickle 'Birds in Silly Hats' image from Hambo! I coloured the image with Copics.

Our sponsor this week is Gurlee Girl - pop over and have a look at her shop!
I hope you like it - I just love that image....! LOL!

C.R.A.F.T 60 - Out Of This World

This week at C.R.A.F.T we're travelling Out Of This World and exploring the final frontier! Frontier of what is up to you! It's just got to be Out Of This World. So, I've gone literal and drawn a rocketship digistamp and created an outer space backdrop, both of which will be in my shop very soon!

Talking of Eiglassing (my shop), I am sponsor this week over at C.R.A.F.T and the prize for this challenge, is your choice of digis from my shop up to £10.00 or, indeed, if there's a special genre you want I'll draw one especially for you instead!

I'm afraid the 'shaker' detail won't behave and stay the right way round! Sorry!

I have further exciting news too! My digis are soon to be available at Stitchy Bear Stamps! How's that!? I'm very chuffed at being asked to join a band of designers I admire!

Pop over to C.R.A.F.T and get Outta This World on inspiration! LOL!

Hope Jacare Blog Candy

I've been dying to tell you all a secret!
But I couldn't as I was sworn to secrecy but I can tell you now!
My friend and team-mate from C.R.A.F.T Hope Jacare (Claire) has been asked for a selection of her doodles .....

.........to be made into RED RUBBER REAL stamps by Polka Doodles! And they're going to be on air!
How's about that then, for a scoop?!

Not that I'm in the least surprised - someone somewhere just HAD to pick up on Claire's fab talent at some point - it was just a case of when.

So, Claire's a little bit pleased...(!!!)...and is GIVING AWAY one of her new stamps, so if you pop over there to Claire's blog and leave a comment saying which of these fab stamps you would like and spread Claire's news on your blog.......well, someone's got to win, and it might just be YOU!

I'm chuffed to bits for her and know she (and Polka Doodles too) will do well!

Thank goodness....I can relax again now......

CraftyCardmakers - Spotlight on Easel Cards

Over at Crafty Cardmakers, we like to put the accent on techniques every other week and this week it's Easel Cards.

Here's my Easel Card. As with last week's effort, I've used the love-hearts colours but cut out a butterfly shape from an A3 card folded in 3. The lovely blue paper is, I think, DCWV. Inside is lined with teal glitter paper and the iridescent material is Fantasy Film.

I enjoyed this project and will use it again!

C.R.A.F.T 59 - Babies/Children

For C.R.A.F.T this week, I've made another digicard for the simple reason, our lovely sponsor, Toucan Crafts, have provided us with these beautiful digipapers! They can also be printed out but I decided to do it this way!

Just look at that cheeky dinosaur - isn't he cute? Angela from Toucan designs these papers herself and she has a lovely collection of collections on her site - why not pop over and have a look?

My New Digistore!

I've been asked loads of times where peeps can buy my digis from and up to now, they couldn't because I didn't sell them! LOL!
However, being a pushover and being, not a little, flattered by these requests, I've turned my test-blog Eiglassing, into a sort of showroom!

I've uploaded a few of my sketches and have more on my hard-drive (....thank you Matthew for rescuing it for me....!) in need of attention, plus a couple of the said requests in the pipe-line.

At the present, it's only in the way of a 'testing of the water' to see how it goes. I ain't a natural businesswoman and wil probably give more away than sell!

I don't yet have a 'PayPal' button or a 'shopping basket' so if there are any you are interested in, just e-mail me and I'll send your image as an attachment.

I also have digital papers but will probably have to enlist '4shared' or something for those as they're too big for most e-mails.

I hope you will like my images and if you want to see anything in particular I can try to help!

My First Demo Card for Crafty Cardmakers...!

.....and it's a photo inspiration one! Here it is.

Apparently we're to blame Judie as it's her suggestion - well, I happen to like it! Nothing at all to do with the fact that there are Love Hearts all over it of course.....well, if you look, just the duck-egg and white ones......not sure where the other colours went......

....nothing to do with me - they were there....then they were gone..... it's a mystery.

I love the colours for this challenge and think I'm gonna like working with the crazies over at Crafty Cardmakers (should be Crazy Cardmakers if you ask me...) - well, let's say I won't stick out so much.....! LOL!

The sponsor for this week is the fab Joanna Sheen who is offering a £10.00 voucher for her shop!
Lovely!

C.R.A.F.T 58 - Cakes/Ice Cream

Cup-cakes and Ice-Creams seem to be right 'on trend' at the moment, so we at C.R.A.F.T have decided to bring a little summer to the proceedings this week! Shame we can't affect the weather!

So here's my offering. I have only one image of a cup-cake in my stamp collection (...not being a 'cutesy' girl....) and here it is! The marvellous Phindy O'Neill's 'It's All Yours!' which I have coloured digitally (...a first for me!) and added to my digital card.

The lovely Debz from The Crafty Pad is offering a lovely prize of a clear stamp set so feel free to pop over to C.R.A.F.T and have a butcher's!

C.R.A.F.T 57 - Inspirational Photo - Purple & Green

At C.R.A.F.T this week, we have an 'inspirational photo' for you to use as your muse!
Aren't those delicious colours?

I had a major problem this week! Despite the fact I chose this pic in the first place, I couldn't find my mojo! I was beginning to panic a little because this has NEVER happened to me before!

We've just come back from a break in a beautiful area of Scotland - Dumfries and Galloway - and I thought perhaps I'd forgotten to pack it or Nic had put it somewhere daft, so i emptied the suitcases and did all the washing but no, it wasn't there.

So I put a small post up with my news about my new DT place and my friend and fellow C.R.A.F.T DT mate Claire contacted me to say I'd left it at her house when we visited her!

Phew! What a relief!
Claire posted it back to me just in time for me to use it for today's project and I'll leave it to you to decide whether my mojo has suffered for its adventure! LOL!

The dragon is one of Phee McFaddell's wonderful images coloured with my trusty Copics. If you care to visit her site, she has some fab 'freebies' (legal ones!)!

I used papers from DCWV's 'Once Upon a Time' set and altered the colours with my dye inkpads (Adirondack and Archival were the only ones with strong enough colours to make a dent!) and encrusted with 'gems' for the dragon to feast on!

That's pretty much it really - those papers do all the work!
