Allsorts 37 - Sketch

As my regular victims will know, I've been not quite firing on all cylinders since before Christmas but I'm now getting there! Not at full throttle yet but definitely feeling much better and not nearly as tired.

I think it's appropriate that my first challenge of 2010 is for Allsorts as it's one of my very favourite challenges (....and I've been placed in their top five twice...!)
so here's my entry for their sketch challenge for this week.

It's an important one too as I'd love to be considered for the Allsorts DT and hope this Mo Manning image (...for which I've had express permission from Mo personally to alter just a little as it's for my straighter-haired baby granddaughter Ada for her second birthday... can you see the resemblance below?) will help to impress them (...how could it not...?!).

The papers I've used are from K&Co Sweet Pea Scrap-pad To Go range and they're mounted on a lilac Stardream pearlescent card and the flowers are Prima.

As usual, I've coloured Mo's fabulously observed drawing with my beloved Copics.

The photo hasn't come out that well so I'll try to do another in the morning light but it may not be in time for the challenge close.

I've really enjoyed following the super sketch and hope you like my effort!
Hugs,
Ei

  3. Great card and image Eileen with fab colours, good luck with the DT call, I'm sure you have quite a good chance with this card. I have entered as well, but with that many people responding I would estimate my chances as very slim.

    Love,

    Jo.
