My mojo finally came crawling back, with a little help from a friend!
On Sunday, my lovely Hubby, Nic, took me to a huge car-boot sale which is at a place called Chelford, just outside of Macclesfield/Knutsford. It's on every Sunday during the summer and is a real mix of tat, new and old and you do, very occasionally, find a lickle treasure there.
We walked around for over three hours - I was absolutely done up in the evening!
But I did find a few lickle treasures and a part of my haul, I have used on my project for this week - an elasticated bracelet in a antique-y bronze.
I found a length of bronzy-coloured chain which the chap let me have for 30p and I found some lovely Swarovsky crystals very reasonable indeed.
I took the chain and threaded a length of Beadalon elasticated thread through all the links and tied it off (a dab of superglue holds the knot), then joined the chain.
This gave me a chain bracelet!
Then I took some Anna Griffin metal shapes I've had for years and coloured them with my trusty Copics.
On the watch-piece I added watch cogs and micro-beads and one red gem before flooding the recess with Glossy Accents.
These were then attached by bronze-coloured jump-rings to the bracelet - voila! - one vintage charm bracelet! I may even add some beads later on......

WOWSERS this is gorgeous.

That bracelet is soooo gorgeous, I saw something similar in a shop the other day that was selling for £20!!!!!!

Gorgeous Ei! Last time I went that car booty there was less than 20 stalls there! I go one just off M56 (cheshire lounge) sometimes butt never find swarovski lol x
