Our nephew Richard and his lovely wife Amy were delivered of their first baby, a son, yesterday! His name is Benjamin David and he was a whopping 9lb 1oz - clearly takes after his bulldoon of a Daddy!
Benjamin is a very welcome addition to our family, being the first baby in his immediate family for nearly 20 years!
In our slightly wider family circle, he has our little Ada just over a year ahead of him and two other small cousins, Olivia (3) and Josh (5).
I made the above card to mark the occasion and used the Sketch Saturday #55 sketch and the Copics Challenge 17 colours (or as close as I have in Copic pens) so would like to be cheeky and enter it for both of these challenges! LOL!
I drew the little baby from a sketch of my number two son, Mikey, when he was one month old and, coincidentally, it's his birthday today! Allegedly he is 32 years old today, but that can't be right because I'm only thirty-five myself.........!
I've been asked by a few peeps who like Ada to do a little boy as they don't have girlies, so here is the first one of Baby Benjamin!
I hope you like him because my Mikey was a beautiful little baby....he still is!
Aaaaah.....!
